Move Agent Data Deletion

Move Agent allows removals and storage companies to connect their WhatsApp Business Account and manage customer conversations through the Move Agent Customer Hub.

You can request deletion of personal data associated with your use of Move Agent, including data received through Meta or WhatsApp.

How to request deletion

Email: support@moveagent.co.uk

Use the subject line:

Data deletion request

Please include:

your full name
the email address associated with your Move Agent account
your company name
the WhatsApp Business phone number connected to Move Agent, where applicable
enough information for us to identify the relevant account or data

For security, we may need to verify your identity or confirm that you are authorised to act for the relevant business before completing the request.

What happens next

Once your request has been verified, we will review the data associated with your account and delete the relevant personal data from our systems, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, regulatory, security or contractual reasons.

Where data is retained, we will restrict its use and keep only what is necessary for the applicable purpose.

We will confirm when the request has been completed or let you know if we need further information.

Disconnecting WhatsApp

Disconnecting a WhatsApp Business Account from Move Agent stops future WhatsApp data from being synchronised with the platform.

Disconnecting the account does not automatically delete previously stored conversations or account data. To request deletion of existing data, follow the process above.

Data controlled by your removals company

In some cases, the removals or storage company using Move Agent is responsible for deciding how customer information is used.

If you contacted a removals company through WhatsApp and want your conversation or personal information deleted, you may need to contact that company directly. We will assist them with the deletion process where appropriate.
